Job Summary
We’re currently seeking a Finance Transformation Specialist- ERP to join the finance department. Reporting to the Director, Finance ERP you will be responsible for managing various ERP & Process improvement projects, ensuring the maximum potential of our ERP. Within this role you will ensure that our ERP and business processes deliver accurate financial records and analysis in an efficient and effective manner. As the Finance Transformation Specialist- ERP , you will...
- Collaborate with business stakeholder and subject matter experts to gather and analyze requirements translating into functional design for the solution working with internal technology and external consulting teams.
- Develop and implement plans to move financial data and processes from various ERP systems to Sage X3
- Develop and implement Global Financial Master Data and Process Standards
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of the solution that adheres to quality standards.
- Co-create training plans and materials to deliver and support end user training and facilitate adoption and sustainability of the solution.
- Identify change impacts and work with key stakeholders in managing the change process.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans
- Ensure that all implemented system and process changes are SOX compliant.
- Support Finance Leaders with reporting required for senior stakeholders and other key deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of organization, project teams and external partners.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closings.
- Ensure systems support the accuracy and compliance in financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure systems support financial analysis, variance analysis, and reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
As an experienced professional, you will have...
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Experience implementing finance transformation projects with prior ERP implementation experience preferred
- Financial consolidations experience
- Proficiency in Sage X3 and other financial ERP systems
- Experience working in a SOX governed environment.
- Experience delivering efficient management and oversight of accounting operations.
