Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, this Quality Assurance Coordinator/Auditor will be based out of our Pemberton facility in British Columbia, and responsible for the following: 



  • Represent QA as an ambassador for regulatory compliance with respect to Cannabis Regulations, GMP, GPP, and company’s SOPs
  • Assist in developing and writing SOPs for all areas of the facility, ensuring compliance with Cannabis Regulations and GPP/GMP
  • Assist with conducting investigations regarding deviations or complaints, including gathering of data, and identification of root cause
  • Provide guidance to manufacturing with respect to GPP, GDP, and GMP
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with manufacturing to promote openness and compliance
  • Perform on floor auditing of records including sanitation, logbooks, and PBRs
  • Perform initial batch record review for completed PBRs from growing, oil production, and bottling.
  • Conduct sanitation and pest control review to ensure compliance.
  • Perform verification (Labels, weights, fulfilled orders)
  • Perform required line clearances during manufacturing operations
  • Verify electronic inventory records of dried cannabis, packaged product, and live plants
  • Perform QA duties for materials management such as release label creation, application, and inventory follow up
  • Participate in Self Inspection Process
  • Assist with tracking metrics around compliance and efficiency and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Assist QA Associates, and QA Manager when necessary



  • 3-5 years' experience in the Quality Assurance Field
  • Degree or diploma in a science-related field
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, pharmaceuticals, or natural health product manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems including batch record review, batch release, document control, change control, deviations, investigations, and CAPA
  • Ability to understand, follow and mentor production staff regarding SOP compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving work environment
  • Fluency in MS Office is mandatory
  • Competency of technological writing (SOPs, Investigation Summary)
  • Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to both speak and write clearly in English
