Aurora Cannabis Inc.is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Facility and Equipment Administratorto join our PembertonFacility, located in Pemberton, BC. The incumbent will report directly to the VP Product Development and Quality Assurance and will be responsible for the following:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for populating and maintaining database of equipment and facility calibration and preventative maintenance
  • Guide and assist department managers in proper equipment installation and qualification
  • Prepare and execute protocols for process and equipment validation and qualificationto GMP standards
  • Make accurate assessments of failures to assess impact on suitability and correct root cause in an effective efficient manner to ensure continuous improvement
  • Design and implement an appropriate Environmental Monitoring program
  • Conduct environmental monitoring processes and track results
  • Communicate effectively with the QC Manager, Quality Assurance Person, and Production Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or a degree in a science or Engineering related field (Chemistry, Mechanical or Instrument)
  • 3-5 years experiencein the Quality Assurance field (preferably in a drug or NHP manufacturing environment)
  • Understand QMS including validation, environmental controls, document control, and CAPA including quality investigations
  • Fluencyin MS office programs
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with production while ensuring that compliance is maintained
  • Competent in technical writing, such as SOPs, annual reports, investigation summary
