We are on the search for a talented professional to join our team as a Senior Analyst (Compliance, Risk and Assurance). In this role, you will be a vital team member within our Compliance, Risk and Assurance division and will work collaboratively to support senior leadership with key governance programs. You will plan, execute, and monitor our global compliance, risk management and internal control activities to elevate our business objectives and enable our success.

As a Senior Analyst, you will…

  • Collaborate with senior management and business partners to plan, scope, and execute on internal audit, compliance, and risk management projects 
  • Analyze findings and observations, draw appropriate conclusions, and make recommendations based on both technical guidance and professional judgment
  • Nurture relationships throughout all levels of the organization to gather appropriate information and understand the business requirements to support insurance, risk profiling, effective control operations, and lease management
  • Coordinate with external auditors and other key stakeholders to support policy development initiatives, manage annual audit plan efforts and maintain accurate program records, such as risk registers, continuity schedules, and policy repositories
  • Facilitate successful key SOX program activities including but not limited to, supporting risk assessments, and scoping procedures, maintaining documents, participating in committees, and overseeing quarterly and annual NI 52-109 and SOX 404 certification

You’re on brand if you are…

  • A Certified Professional Accountant (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA - or in the process of pursuing) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • A robust professional with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in auditing, public accounting, risk management or internal controls in a SOX environment (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
  • An expert in COSO Integrated Internal Control and ERM frameworks with experience implementing control objectives within large public companies
  • The ultimate team-player who thrives in a collaborative environment where they have the autonomy to make decisions
  • A self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational skills looking to build an impactful career at Aurora

Bonus points if you have...

  • A CIA or CISA designation (or be in the process of pursuing)
  • Strong knowledge and background with IT general controls, application control, Sage X3 and COBIT framework
