Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently seeking a Vice President of Global Product Allocations to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Market Development, the Vice President of Global Product Allocations role will be responsible for directing the strategic allocation of cannabis products to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and performance targets (e.g. financial and business unit plans, category performance objectives, etc.)



  • Spearheads the refinement of the company’s product and market allocation frameworks
  • Works collaboratively with the demand and production planning teams to develop comprehensive forecasts of global supply and demand
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to provide senior management with detailed allocation recommendations
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize allocation between markets to support of broader corporate goals
  • Tracks product shipment and sales ensuring that allocation framework is robust and delivering expected results
  • Provides a direct point of contact for internal stakeholders feeding into and out of the Aurora global supply chain Collaborate with sales team to ensure external stakeholders are also being properly allocated supply of product.
  • Manage allocation across sales channels through dialogue with suppliers, sales teams as well as production and demand planning teams.
  • Partner with Operating Strategies to evaluate strategies and ensure that service levels are being met
  • Lead change and growth initiatives for the business through strong relationships with the cross-functional team
  • Drive and influence brand initiatives for continuous process improvement, ensuring ongoing effectiveness and efficiency
  • Supports the re-allocation of product based on emerging sales trends and opportunities across all departments



  • Master’s Degree in Business or related discipline
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a related role, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Extensive background in market analysis, planning and forecasting
  • Firm understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
  • Experience communicating complex information to senior executives
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team under tight deadlines
  • Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
  • Global experience entering new markets is required
  • Knowledge of the Cannabis industry considered a strong asset
  • Experience communicating complex issues in clear, straightforward terms
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and collaborate on projects
